Michelle J Lambert, CPA LLC provides accounting, payroll and tax services to non-profit, government and for-profit organizations in Delaware. The firm’s Delaware Charter School Division specializes in support services for charter schools across the state. Our goal is simple: exceptional service that helps clients maximize profitability and minimize taxes.
Since starting the firm in 2004, Michelle has applied her experience in financial management to help clients address their internal accounting and tax needs, from a single small business to multi-program public charter schools.
Experience
Michelle has worked across diverse fields, including tax, investment management, education and government. Before founding the firm, she spent four years as controller for an investment management firm, where she was responsible for firm administration including accounting, tax, regulatory compliance and human resources. She:
- Oversaw accounting for five Low Income Housing Tax Credit funds, two venture funds, a wealth management business and the management company
- Coordinated financial reporting, audits and tax returns for those entities
- Maintained relationships with outside accountants and investors
Earlier, Michelle worked for three years as a Senior Tax Associate at a public accounting firm.
